Lifetime Service AwardPurpose:
A plaque will be given to honour the outstanding lifetime accomplishments and contributions of ESL professionals in the areas of classroom teaching, administration, professional development and community involvement.
Criteria:
1. Long standing member of TESL London
2. Leaving the profession after a minimum of twenty years of service
Procedure:
1. The person must be nominated by a member of TESL London
2. The deadline is April 15
3. Inform recipients by April 30
4. Application must be made on an official application form
5. Selection by TESL London Executive

Purpose:
T o acknowledge the accomplishments and contributions of ESL learners at the elementary, secondary and adult levels and the contributions of agencies that support ESL learners
Criteria:
1. motivation of the learner/agency
2. contributions to the school and/or community
3. $50 - $100 - 1 to 2 elementary learners
4. $100 each to 1 secondary learner and 1 adult learner for each category (international and permanent resident)
5. award monies will be held in recipient’s name for up to one year after date of award
6. awards will be given in cash
7. type of acknowledgment to be determined for partnerships re agencies, i.e. certificate, plaque
Procedure:
1. apply by April 15 deadline
2. inform recipients by April 30th
3. application must be made by a TESL member on an official application form
4. selection by TESL London Executive committee
